Volunteers are the backbone of Habitat for Humanity, and without them our work would not be possible.
Whether building a home, stocking shelves at one of our ReStores or hosting a table at one of our events, contributions by volunteers are priceless. At Habitat Greater Vancouver, we have over 350 active volunteers!

Unfortunately we can ONLY accept volunteer who are a minimum age of 18 years old on our build site or in our ReStores.
Build a Home
Through volunteer labour and donations of money and materials, we build safe, decent and affordable houses alongside Habitat Families. No skills are required, but if you have some to offer, even better!
Events
Apply to be one of our event ambassadors and spread awareness for Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver through signature events and collaborative fundraisers.

ReStores
As a volunteer at the ReStore, you can complete transactions and serve customers, assist with merchandising or test/fix items (carpenters, electricians, cabinet makers, plumbers), and also work on our donation truck team (drivers and crew members).
We have six ReStore locations – Abbotsford, Chilliwack, two in Burnaby, Langley and North Vancouver.
